Although the number of channels (16) available is less than more premium models, such as the Edge AI 24, the product has numerous features that characterize the Edge AI as a genuinely next-generation hearing aid.

It has a core based on the G2 Neuro Processor that incorporates a special Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to execute the deep neural network (DNN) algorithms. This allows the hearing aid to analyze complex sound situations on the fly, separating speech and noise, decreasing the listening load, and improving intelligibility.
